A Superjet 100 passenger aircraft operated by Rossiya Airlines, flight FV6305 from St. Petersburg, ran off the runway during its landing at Arkhangelsk Airport on January 9 at 12:38 Moscow time. It was reported that there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident.

According to information obtained from authorities, the incident occurred during the aircraft’s deceleration phase due to the presence of approximately 3 millimetres of wet snow on the runway. Winter conditions are considered to have adversely affected landing performance.

It was announced that all passengers on board were evacuated in a controlled and safe manner, and that there were no injuries. After the necessary safety measures were taken, the aircraft was towed to a parking position, ensuring uninterrupted continuation of airport operations.
