The pilot of a Pegasus Airlines Airbus 321, flying from Berlin to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, requested police assistance upon landing due to a disruptive passenger. The incident was captured in radio communications between the tower and the pilot.
What Happened in the Radio Communications?
The pilot informed the Sabiha Gökçen Airport Air Traffic Controller about the unruly passenger, saying, “We have one passenger. We need police assistance after landing.” When the traffic controller asked, “Can I get information about the passenger, sir?” the pilot responded, “A lady in her 30s sitting at the back, we believe she has psychological problems.” These conversations were recorded in the radio transmissions.
