A plane crash in western Venezuela occurred just seconds after take-off from the airport. The shocking moment was caught on camera.
A small Cheyenne model aircraft taking off from Paramillo Airport in the Táchira state of western Venezuela crashed and caught fire shortly after take-off. According to local media reports, two people lost their lives in the accident.
According to the newspaper El Nacional, the crash occurred on Wednesday morning, and the entire incident was captured on camera. The footage shows the plane making a wide left turn immediately after take-off, losing lift before rolling onto its wing and bursting into flames.
Initial investigations suggest that the pilot lost control of the aircraft due to a tyre burst. Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the victims and determine the cause of the accident.
El Nacional also reported that the crashed aircraft was “linked to state logistics operations.” The incident has been recorded as one of the most notable aviation accidents in Venezuela in recent times.
