It has emerged that Ukrainian intelligence attempted to hijack a Russian ship carrying nuclear weapons by pushing all boundaries. A pilot from the Russian Aerospace Forces detailed an attempt by Ukrainian intelligence to seize a long-range Russian bomber carrying nuclear weapons.
As previously reported, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation had thwarted an operation by Ukrainian special services to hijack a Tu-22M3 bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces abroad.
Plan to Hijack Bomber Aircraft
The Russian pilot, who deciphered Ukraine’s amateur plan, stated, “The person I spoke to did not even hide that he was from Ukrainian special services. He introduced himself as Pavel. However, he proposed hijacking not just any aircraft, but a long-range missile-carrying bomber.” In a video released by the FSB, the pilot mentioned, “A carrier of nuclear weapons.”
Threats Pushing Moral and Ethical Boundaries
The pilot noted that a representative from Ukrainian special services demanded the setting on fire of Russian aircraft, saying, “I once wrote about this on Telegram to an unknown person. There was no morality or ethics. They immediately started threatening my close relatives.”
In Pursuit of Critical Data
According to the pilot, Ukrainian intelligence requested all data related to Russian warplanes. The pilot added, “Ukrainian intelligence asked me for data on the aircraft, tail numbers, technical condition, and maintenance schedule.”
In the summer of 2022, the Russian FSB distributed materials following an operation planned by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, under the supervision of NATO countries’ intelligence services, to hijack Russian warplanes. However, during the operational work, Russian counterintelligence obtained data that later enabled the Russian Armed Forces to destroy a number of Ukrainian military facilities.
