Pegasus Airlines selected the AI-based Draftwise platform for its legal team to accelerate contract drafting and review processes.
Pegasus Airlines decided to use the AI-based contract platform Draftwise to increase speed, precision, and consistency in its legal processes. According to an announcement published by Draftwise, the platform will support Pegasus’ contract drafting and review workflows by drawing on the airline’s existing contract precedents and institutional knowledge.
Contract drafting processes will be accelerated
As part of the collaboration, Pegasus’ legal team will be able to compare previously prepared contracts through the AI-supported system and receive rewriting suggestions for the relevant clauses.
Draftwise will also enable the creation of initial contract drafts from letters of intent and documents containing commercial terms. The platform is intended to make the institutional knowledge contained in the company’s previous contracts available for use in new drafting and review processes.
Recommendations will be based on the company’s documents
The system’s use of Pegasus’ own precedent contracts will allow the recommendations generated by the platform to be compared with the company’s previous documents.
Thanks to this structure, the legal team will be able to review which documents and examples the recommendations concerning contract clauses are based on. Draftwise stated that this feature supports traceability as well as speed in contract drafting and review work.
Ali Uzun: We can trace the source of the recommendations
Ali Uzun, General Counsel and Senior Director of Sustainability at Pegasus Airlines, stated that the ability to trace recommendations back to the company’s own documents was influential in the decision to choose the platform.
Uzun made the following remarks regarding the matter:

Institutional knowledge will be used in legal processes
Through Draftwise, Pegasus aims to access appropriate precedent texts more quickly during the contract drafting stage, compare contract clauses, and create initial drafts in a shorter period of time.
By incorporating the platform into contract review processes, the company plans to enable its legal team to use the knowledge and experience contained in its existing documents more effectively.
