Passenger and Carbon Efficiency Success from Pegasus in August 2025
Pegasus Airlines achieved strong growth in August 2025, carrying 4.29 million passengers. This figure represents a 17% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

In the first eight months of 2025, Pegasus carried a total of 27.9 million passengers, marking a 13% increase compared to the same period last year. International growth of 16% played a decisive role in the company’s performance.
Decline in Carbon Emissions
Pegasus also reported a positive trend in carbon emission efficiency. In August 2025, the CO₂ grams/RPK stood at 56.1, below the 57.1 g/RPK recorded in the same month last year.
For the January–August period, Pegasus’ average emission intensity was 57.3 g/RPK. Compared with 58.3 g/RPK in the same period of 2024, this represents a 1.7% improvement.
