Milano to Zanzibar: Partnership Between Mavi Gök Airlines and NEOS Air Begins

Mavi Gök Airlines (MGA) has signed a long-term wet lease agreement with the Italian airline NEOS Air as part of its international growth strategy. Throughout the winter season, flights will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER from Milan and Rome to tourist destinations.

Mavi Gök Airlines (MGA) has taken a significant step in line with its international growth targets by signing a long-term wet lease agreement with NEOS Air, an Italy-based airline. Operations, which successfully began on 7 November, will initially continue until the end of March 2026.

As part of the agreement, MGA’s Boeing 777-300ER wide-body aircraft, registered as TC-MGG, will operate flights based out of Milan Malpensa (MXP) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Initially, flights will be operated to popular long-haul tourist destinations such as Zanzibar, Kenya, and the Dominican Republic. Depending on demand and planning, new holiday destinations may be added to the routes throughout the winter season.

NEOS Air: Laying the Foundations for a Long-Term Partnership

We are very pleased that our cooperation has started so efficiently. We believe that the wet lease operation, which will continue throughout the winter season, will lay the foundation for a long-term and strong partnership.”
