According to News.Az, citing local sources, the Boeing 737 aircraft operated by LOT Polish Airlines on the Warsaw–Tashkent route made an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku after one of the passengers suddenly fell ill.
The aircraft safely touched down at 22:25 local time. Following the emergency notification, airport teams promptly activated all safety and medical procedures in line with international air transport protocols.

The ill passenger received first aid from the airport’s medical team immediately after landing. While no detailed information has been shared regarding the passenger’s condition, it was reported that the situation was resolved safely.
Heydar Aliyev International Airport stands out for its operational standards that prioritise human life and safety in such situations. The airport management emphasised that full compliance with international air transport standards is maintained, ensuring swift response and coordination under all circumstances.
