Turkish Airlines (THY) has prepared a comprehensive flight schedule to meet the increasing passenger demand during the Eid al-Adha holiday. THY Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Murat Şeker announced that a total of 16,544 flights will be operated during the holiday period, with a target of carrying approximately 2.7 million passengers.
Şeker met with personnel working at Istanbul Airport on the second day of the holiday and thanked employees for their intensive efforts behind the operation.

Stating that the THY family is working intensively to ensure passengers can travel safely and comfortably during the Eid al-Adha period, Şeker said:

“Throughout the Eid al-Adha holiday, which we welcomed with great enthusiasm, we as the Turkish Airlines family are working with all our strength to transport our guests safely and comfortably to their loved ones.”
Şeker noted that they met with teams working at Istanbul Airport and emphasized that the dedication of employees plays a critical role in the successful execution of the operation.

International and domestic operations stood out in the flight planning of THY and AJet for the holiday period covering May 22–31.

In total, one of the busiest air traffic operations of the holiday period will be carried out with 16,544 flights.
May 31 Will Be the Busiest Day in THY History
THY Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Murat Şeker announced that Sunday, May 31, the final day of the holiday, will be the busiest day in the company’s operational history.
Record Expected with 305 Thousand Passengers
On May 31, a total of 1,867 scheduled flights will be operated under the THY and AJet brands. It is expected that the number of booked passengers will exceed 305,000 on the same day, setting the highest reservation figure in the company’s history.
