Corendon Hotels & Resorts, part of the Corendon Tourism Group, continues to grow with a brand-new beachfront hotel located in the centre of Kemer, following its successful operations with Corendon Grand Park Lara and Corendon Playa Kemer. The new hotel, which is set to be officially launched this winter, is scheduled to open at the beginning of the 2026 summer season.
Corendon Hotels & Resorts recently hosted a media event at Corendon Playa Kemer, attended by Chairman of the Board of Corendon Tourism Group Yıldıray Karaer, General Coordinator of Corendon Hotels & Resorts Armağan Dayıoğlu, and Corporate Communications and Marketing Director Birgül Akgül. In addition to unveiling plans for the new hotel, the brand also shared updates on its sports investments launched in 2024.

The Region’s Largest and Most Comprehensive Aqua Park to Serve Both Guests and the Public
Committed to offering holidays filled with fun, activities, and sports, Corendon Hotels & Resorts’ new property will feature the region’s largest aqua park. The hotel, which promises entertainment for all ages—especially families—will also boast a central beachfront location, lush gardens, and diverse culinary offerings. With a major investment backing its development, the hotel will begin welcoming guests in summer 2026. Corendon Hotels & Resorts plans to continue expanding in Turkey’s most popular coastal destinations.
Significant Investments in Sports and Sports Tourism in 2024
In 2024, Corendon Hotels & Resorts not only expanded its hotel portfolio but also made notable investments in football and tennis. The Corendon Football Center, located in Kundu, has hosted dozens of teams from both Turkey and abroad within less than a year, offering top-level training and accommodation facilities. With growing demand, the centre continues to strengthen Antalya’s reputation as a hub for sports tourism.
The Corendon Tennis Club Kemer, which opened on 5 April 2024, has already hosted a variety of national and international events. Nestled at the foot of the Bey Mountains, the club features 14 clay courts, an outdoor fitness area, the Corendon Club Café, warm-up zones, a practice wall, private and group lessons with professional coaches, court rentals, and year-round memberships open to the public from age 5 upwards. The extended spring and autumn clay court seasons make the club an attractive destination for tennis academies from Turkey, the UK, Europe, and CIS countries.
In its first year, the rapidly growing Corendon Tennis Club Kemer partnered with the Netherlands-based Ten Pro Global Junior Tour to host the “Turkish Bowl” tournament. This event brought together athletes from nearly 50 countries across five continents. Following the tournament’s initial success, the second edition of Ten Pro Turkish Bowl was held in April this year. Due to overwhelming interest, the 2026 edition has been extended to three weeks.
Thanks to its proximity—just five minutes from the courts—Corendon Playa Kemer hotel offers bundled tennis and accommodation packages, boosting brand visibility in markets such as the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czechia, and Russia. The new hotel opening in Kemer in 2026 is also expected to host sports groups with accommodation options.

Investments that Add Value to Sports, Nature, and the Region
Speaking at the event, Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman of the Corendon Tourism Group, stated:
“Our most important insight from over 30 years in tourism is that lasting success isn’t only measured by guest satisfaction, but also by the value you bring to the region. This investment goes beyond infrastructure—it reflects our vision to promote grassroots sports, revitalise the area, and extend tourism to a year-round model. Every step you take in Turkey is closely watched by the global tourism sector. With this approach, we aim to develop forward-thinking initiatives that not only address today’s needs but also anticipate the future.”

Birgül Akgül, Corporate Communications and Marketing Director of Corendon Hotels & Resorts, added:
“As a communications and marketing professional, I’ve always recognised the power of the media. I’m truly pleased to see this value embraced at Corendon Hotels. Today, we’re not just sharing breakfast—we’re announcing developments that will contribute significantly to Turkish tourism. Our new beachfront hotel in Kemer, with the region’s largest aqua park, is a prime example of this vision. In 2024, we began investing in football and tennis facilities that add real value to the region. Corendon Hotels will continue to pursue guest satisfaction and regional development in Turkey’s top holiday destinations.”

Corendon Tennis Club Kemer Hosts National Tournaments in 2025
Following the success of the Winter Cup Turkey Series in February and the U14 National Team Selection Tournament in May, Corendon Tennis Club Kemer will host the Turkish Individual Masters Championship from 27 October to 9 November.
Corendon to Launch Its Own International Tennis Tournament
Another international event is scheduled for November: the Corendon International Juniors Cup. Designed to attract both domestic and international athletes, the tournament aims to promote the region among young athletes while establishing a new tournament series under the Corendon brand.
