A pioneer in domestic data production for defence and aviation technologies, KEYVAN Aviation held strategic collaborations and technology-focused meetings with leading national and international institutions during the 17th edition of IDEF 2025 – International Defence Industry Fair.
National Technology Vision Discussed with the Presidency of Defence Industries
KEYVAN Aviation held an important meeting with Bedriye Çubuk Cicioğlu, Head of the Aircraft Department, and Fatih Mehmet Bayar, Head of the Helicopter Department at the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) of the Republic of Türkiye. The meeting highlighted the importance of domestic data use in aviation and the development of national technological capabilities. Potential joint projects and cooperation areas were also discussed.
Strategic Engagements Based on Domestic Data with AFGM
During the fair, KEYVAN also held critical talks with the Ministry of National Defence’s General Directorate of Military Factories (AFGM). At the meeting, attended by AFGM Deputy Directors General Brigadier General Tahir Kağan Büyüksaraç and Brigadier General Zafer Koca, the strategic importance of domestic data in military air defence and the contribution of advanced data technologies to defence capacity were addressed.
Digitalisation of Defence Infrastructure Discussed with Azerbaijan
KEYVAN Aviation also held a comprehensive meeting with Aqil Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Defence and General Director of Azerbaijan. The meeting evaluated the data needs of the Azerbaijani Air Force, digitalisation strategies, and KEYVAN’s potential contributions as a Türkiye-based solution partner. The importance of having a national and reliable data provider in a competitive environment was especially emphasised.
Focus on Next-Generation Technologies with Calidus LLC
In a meeting with Dr. Khalifa AlBlooshi, CEO of UAE-based Calidus LLC, new-generation defence technologies and data-oriented solutions were discussed in detail. The meeting laid the groundwork for potential future technological collaborations between the two parties.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed with SiMTEK
One of the concrete steps taken at IDEF 2025 was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KEYVAN Aviation and SiMTEK – Simulation Technologies. With this agreement, KEYVAN’s certified aviation data will be integrated with SiMTEK’s advanced simulation solutions. The goal is to develop augmented reality, digital twin, and advanced simulation systems for civilian and military airports.
