Another strategically significant development has been realised within Türkiye’s domestic and national aviation ecosystem. Through the navigation database solutions it has developed, KEYVAN Aviation has now begun to be used in full compatibility across all of ASELSAN’s avionic suites and platforms.
As a result of the work carried out under the cooperation protocol signed with ASELSAN in 2022, KEYVAN’s domestic and national navigation data solutions have, at the current stage, become fully integrated with avionic systems and are being deployed in operations with high accuracy and reliability.
EASA-Approved Domestic Aviation Data
As Türkiye’s first and only EASA-approved aviation data producer, KEYVAN provides high-precision navigation data across a wide range of applications, including avionic system integrations, critical mission scenarios and defence-oriented platforms.
Produced using domestic and national resources, these data play a critical role in reducing foreign dependency in Türkiye’s aviation and defence industry, enhancing operational safety, and strengthening strategic data sovereignty.
The Foundation of Independence in the Skies: Domestic Data
In their assessment of the development, KEYVAN officials highlighted the following message:
“Independence in the skies is possible not only through domestic and national technologies, but also through accurate, reliable and domestically produced aviation data that underpin these technologies.”
