The tender for jet fuel supply to Istanbul Airport, organized by TFS Akaryakıt Hizmetleri A.Ş., has concluded. Tüpraş, the winning bidder, will provide 1.8 million tons of jet fuel annually to Istanbul Airport for the next five years. This sales agreement, starting on January 1, 2025, reinforces Tüpraş’s industry strength and its capacity to meet the fuel needs of Istanbul Airport.
Postponement Decision and Announcement Details
Information regarding this significant partnership was evaluated by Tüpraş’s General Directorate in accordance with the Capital Markets Board’s Special Circumstances Communiqué No. II-15.1, based on the decision of the Board of Directors dated February 13, 2018 (No. 05). The disclosure of insider information was postponed until an agreement between the parties was reached, in order to prevent any negative impact on the process and to protect Tüpraş’s legal rights and competitive advantage. The public was informed of this crucial agreement following its completion.
