An AJet aircraft flying from Düsseldorf to Ankara had to return to Düsseldorf due to a malfunction in the cockpit instruments.
The AJet B737-800, registered as TC-JFH, experienced a malfunction in the captain’s cockpit displays shortly after takeoff from Düsseldorf while climbing. The screens went dark, and the flight crew assessed the situation as an emergency. To ensure flight safety, the captain decided to return to Düsseldorf.
The aircraft made a safe landing at Düsseldorf Airport approximately 50 minutes after takeoff. Following the landing, passengers were informed about the technical issue, and the necessary precautions were taken as the aircraft was moved to the hangar for maintenance.
Technical teams immediately began the maintenance and repair process after landing. It took 17 hours to resolve the issue and prepare the aircraft for flight again. During this time, various measures were taken to minimize passenger inconvenience.
