Türkiye’s youngest airline, AJet, became an IATA member in less than two years after its establishment. The IATA certificate was presented to AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp.
Türkiye’s youngest airline company, AJet, started the new year with a significant international achievement. Placing flight safety and security at the centre of all its operations, AJet has officially become a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), thereby certifying its operational processes on a global scale.
Following the completion of the membership process in January, the IATA certificate was presented to AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp by IATA officials.
IATA Membership in Less Than Two Years Since Establishment
Successfully completing the required audit and evaluation processes, AJet became one of the few airline companies to achieve IATA membership in less than two years since its establishment. With this development, AJet’s service quality, flight safety and operational standards have once again been approved at the international level.
The IATA certificate was presented to General Manager Kerem Sarp by IATA Türkiye Regional Director Funda Çalışır at a ceremony held at AJet Headquarters. The certificate ceremony was also shared with the public by AJet.

AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp used the following statements in his assessment of the IATA membership:

As Türkiye’s youngest airline, AJet, we have obtained our IATA certificate by becoming a member in less than two years since our establishment. Emphasising that IATA membership is also a significant responsibility, Kerem Sarp highlighted AJet’s passenger-oriented approach with the following words:
“Being a member of IATA, one of the most important international authorities in the aviation sector, is both a great responsibility for us and a strong indication that we are on the right path.
As AJet, we regard it as a fundamental duty to meticulously fulfil all standards set by international accreditation bodies and aviation authorities. AJet’s IATA membership is considered an important milestone in terms of the company’s full integration into the international aviation system, operational reliability and global growth objectives.
