How the Pentagon plans to help mitigate industry concerns over critical mineral EO

In this episode of The Pentagon Buzz, Pentagon reporter Ashley Roque explains how the department is willing to work with industry to meet the guidelines of an executive order essentially giving companies until the start of 2027 to stop using critical materials and minerals from China and other prohibited countries. Michael Cadenazzi, the assistant secretary of defense for industrial base policy, and Aerospace Industries Association head Eric Fanning shared their thoughts on the EO in recent interviews with Breaking Defense.
