TAAC Aviation Technologies has signed a “Collaboration Protocol” with Emerson’s Test and Measurement Unit at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024. As a subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and Altınay Defense Technologies, TAAC aims to expand its global influence through this partnership.
TAAC Aviation Technologies, which developed the Iron Bird test system for the National Combat Aircraft KAAN and Hürjet, announced a new collaboration. The Farnborough International Airshow 2024 (FIA 24), held in England and bringing together stakeholders from the space, aviation, and defense industries, facilitated this new partnership for TAAC. The company signed a collaboration protocol with Emerson at this year’s FIA 24.
Providing information about the protocol, TAAC Aviation Technologies General Manager Enis Ata stated, “This collaboration protocol with Emerson’s Test and Measurement Unit will not only allow TAAC engineering, which has succeeded in creating one of the most critical and complex test systems in our country for both KAAN and Hürjet, to be recognized not only in Turkey but also globally.”
Reggie Rector, Vice President and General Manager of NI’s Defense and Government Business Unit, commented, “The Collaboration Protocol we signed with TAAC will allow us to develop more advanced projects in the complex test systems we aim to develop by combining our strengths. We believe this collaboration will bring great benefits to both companies.”
Strengthening TAAC’s Test Strategies
With technologies in critical domestic and national projects, TAAC’s engineering will join forces with Emerson, which possesses significant expertise in test equipment, virtual testing, and measurement systems, through this agreement.

The collaboration protocol is expected to enable TAAC and NI brands to play roles in many innovative projects, strengthening their position in the global market.

TAAC Aviation Technologies, which recently signed its first international contract with EDGE Group, the largest defense and aviation company group in the United Arab Emirates, continues to expand its influence abroad with this new collaboration agreement.
