Rudraprayag district official Saurabh Gaharwar stated that a technical issue with the helicopter’s engine was identified during the landing. “The pilot remained calm and averted a major disaster with his quick decision-making,” he said. Security camera footage of the incident shows personnel and passengers fleeing the landing pad as the helicopter spun out of control, followed by staff quickly reaching the scene after the emergency landing.
