Being told you can’t board a flight would usually bring the trip to a screeching halt at the gate. But that wasn't the case on a Frontier Airlines flight leaving Miami earlier this year. After three travelers continued onto the aircraft despite being denied boarding, police were forced to deplane the entire flight.
Recently released body camera footage shows the moments before the three passengers were denied boarding at the gate.
A Frontier Airlines passenger became unresponsive in seat 22A.
The incident happened as travelers were boarding their Frontier Airlines flight from Miami to Philadelphia on March 29, 2026. According to law enforcement, three passengers — Nafisa Dockery, Davana Cochran, and Dionjana Cochran — arrived at the gate with two carry-on bags, but employees said the group had only paid for one.
An employee reportedly asked the group to pay for the additional bag before boarding. However, after a verbal argument, the employee told the group they would no longer be allowed to board.
Despite their tickets being canceled, the three travelers got on the plane through a restricted doorway.
The employee subsequently contacted police.
Newly released body camera footage shows deputies speaking with the employee at the gate before heading onto the aircraft.
"We're gonna remove them, and we're not gonna rebook them," the employee can be heard telling deputies in the footage. The employee also told officers that he could smell alcohol on the women. Additionally, when an officer asked whether Frontier wanted all three women removed, the employee confirmed it did.
"I let them know they only have one carry-on bag paid for, but they have two rolling bags. … They cannot board until that bag is paid for. They told me no. … They continued to board," the employee continued.

Officers then boarded the aircraft.
Officers told the women they needed to exit the plane because they hadn't paid for the additional rolling luggage. Unfortunately, they refused.
Police then had to ask the other passengers to leave the aircraft to address the situation. Only then did the three women stand up to exit the plane.
The confrontation didn't end there, though. On the jet bridge, body camera footage shows a brief struggle as officers attempted to place the women under arrest. Meanwhile, several of the other travelers from the flight who were left waiting at the gate applauded as the women were escorted through the terminal in handcuffs.
Travelers on YouTube shared similar sentiments, saying that the three women should be placed on a no-fly list. Others wondered why the group caused a scene in the first place, arguing that it would have been more logical to just pay for the bag rather than get sent to jail.
"Everybody is sick of this kind of behavior."
