Hanita Ahmad has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG). Succeeding Tahirah Mohamed Nor, whose term has ended, Ahmad is set to bring a fresh perspective to ISG’s financial vision with over 28 years of experience in the finance sector.
A New Era with Strategic Financial Leadership
Hanita Ahmad will continue to serve as General Manager, Finance Business Partner, and Head of Tax at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), while taking on her new role at ISG. Her responsibilities at MAHB and ISG will run concurrently.
Over the past 10 years at MAHB, Ahmad has held various senior positions and is well-known for her expertise in end-to-end financial business partnering and tax process management. She has made significant contributions to financial transformation, tax strategy, and leadership within the organisations she has worked with.
From PwC and KPMG to ISG: A Story of Success
Before joining MAHB, Hanita Ahmad spent 18 years in senior leadership roles at two of the world’s top consultancy firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and KPMG. During this time, she provided strategic finance advisory, business transformation, and tax compliance services to numerous local and international companies.
Strong Academic Background in the Global Financial Arena
Ahmad is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, Australia, with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). She is a Council Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia and a member of CPA Australia. She is also a recognised speaker and panelist in the international finance community.
