Reaching the Top in Europe
The July 2025 Air Traffic Report, published by the Airport Council International Europe (ACI EUROPE), highlighted the record achievement of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG).
With a 14.9% increase in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year, Sabiha Gökçen ranked at the top in the “Major Airports” category, serving over 40 million passengers annually.
These results earned Sabiha Gökçen the title of Europe’s fastest-growing airport.
Contributing to Turkey’s Global Aviation Vision
This achievement by ISG not only reflects Istanbul’s growth but also supports Turkey’s vision of becoming a global aviation hub. The airport’s increased passenger capacity, modern terminal infrastructure, and continuously improving service quality make it an attractive centre for international travellers.
