Emirates and Turkish Airlines Resume Flights from Imam Khomeini Airport

The Head of Iran’s Office of Communication, Information, and International Relations, Ahoora Mohammadi, announced that Emirates and Turkish Airlines have resumed flights from Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA).

In a statement to IRNA on Friday, Mohammadi stated that as of Thursday, Emirates and Turkish Airlines have resumed flights from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport to Dubai and Istanbul. This development indicates that international flights are gradually returning to normal post-pandemic.

Mohammadi also noted that flights departing from Tehran will continue on a regular basis. Previously, Imam Khomeini International Airport had already strengthened its position as a major hub in international passenger transport by reinitiating flights for 11 other foreign airlines.
