easyJet Strengthens Alliance with Travelport: A New Era in Global Airline Distribution
Europe’s leading low-cost carrier easyJet has announced the expansion of its partnership with global travel technology leader Travelport. With this move, easyJet joins major airlines such as Delta Air Lines, Air Canada, Jet2, Ryanair and Turkish Airlines on Travelport’s central retailing platform, Travelport+.
The new agreement gives travel agencies direct access to all of easyJet’s content, while also streamlining the sale of seat selection, baggage, meals, and ancillary services. This allows agencies to serve their customers with the same breadth of options as offered on the airline’s own website.
With this expansion, Travelport now partners with over 400 airlines, strengthening its position as the most comprehensive global distribution network uniting both low-cost and full-service carriers under one platform.
