A 28-year-old passenger on an EasyJet flight from London Gatwick to Alicante endangered flight safety with drunken behavior. Upon landing at Spain’s Alicante Airport, the intoxicated passenger was met by police and subsequently arrested.
Chaos on Board: Attempt to Open Door
The incident caused chaos as the passenger attempted to open a door in the middle of the flight. Reports indicate the passenger was too drunk to realize the flight was still airborne. He began cursing at other passengers and engaging in physical altercations, but was restrained with the help of crew and fellow passengers.
Deteriorating Condition During Flight
According to reports, the passenger boarded the plane already intoxicated, and his condition worsened during the flight. Aviation sources claim he tried to hit a crew member and attempted to enter the cockpit.
Police Intervention
As the situation escalated, the captain contacted Alicante control tower to report the incident. The plane was met by Civil Guards upon landing, who took the passenger into custody.
