St. Petersburg’s critical transport hub, Pulkovo Airport, was forced to suspend operations for a period of time due to drone attacks.

Flights Halted, Passengers Affected

According to reports, as a result of the attacks, the airport’s arrivals and departures were completely suspended for several hours. Authorities Confirm the Attack

Leningrad Region Governor Aleksandr Drozdenko confirmed in a statement that several drones had been shot down by air defence systems. However, the impact of the disruption extended well beyond the airport itself.
