The reaction of DHMİ (General Directorate of State Airports Authority) employees to the inequality in aviation compensation has led to an urgent meeting between the General Presidents of the three major unions, Kamusen, Memursen, and BTS, along with associations operating within DHMİ. Following the meeting, a joint declaration was issued, stating that an action decision has been taken.
The declaration highlighted the demand for fair distribution of aviation compensation to all personnel. However, if this demand is not met, it was stated that initially a “WORK SLOWDOWN” action will be taken, and if not rectified, steps will be taken towards “WORK STOPPAGE.”
Taking this decision during a period of intense tourism season is noted to potentially cause significant disruptions in the aviation sector.
