Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed Corendon’s first base flight today from Brussels with a water arch. With flight number XC7655 operated by a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, 189 passengers arrived in Alanya. The passengers were greeted with flowers at the terminal.

Throughout the season, Corendon will operate reciprocal flights from Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport to 17 different destinations in seven countries. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, operated by TAV Airports, will host Corendon’s flights throughout the season.

Oğuzhan Karatürk, General Manager of TAV Gazipaşa, noted that the airport has started the year successfully by increasing its passenger numbers compared to last year. Karatürk expressed that they will work in cooperation with stakeholders to connect Alanya to more destinations and are eager to welcome guests from all around the world.

During the season, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport will operate 1,278 flights to 17 destinations from seven different countries, including Brussels, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Copenhagen, and Tehran.

In the first quarter of 2024, the airport served 36,729 passengers on international flights, marking an 88% increase compared to the same period last year. The total number of passengers increased by 29% compared to the same period last year, reaching 135,651 passengers.
