Corendon Airlines is offering a new opportunity for young pilot candidates who wish to embark on an aviation career. The company has officially announced its Trainee First Officer programme, aimed at training the captains of the future. As part of the programme, candidates will receive professional flight training and have the chance to serve within the Corendon Airlines fleet.
In its announcement, Corendon Airlines stated: “We are preparing all young pilot candidates who want to spread their wings with us to the skies of the future. We welcome candidates who wish to turn their passion for aviation into a profession to our Trainee First Officer project.”
Application Requirements
Candidates wishing to apply for the programme must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye
- Must be a graduate of a 4-year university programme
- Must be born on or after 1 January 1990
- Must have completed military service or have at least a 1-year deferment
- Must have no criminal record or criminal archive record
- Must hold a valid ATPL (Frozen) licence
- Must have a Class 1 medical certificate issued in accordance with Part-MED standards
Must hold at least one of the following English proficiency scores:
- TOEFL IBT: 75
- IELTS General Training: 6 or Academic: 5.5
- TOEIC: Listening 400, Reading 385, Writing 150, Speaking 160
- ITEP Academic Plus Overall: 3.5
- Application deadline: 14 December 2025
- Vacancy closing date: Monday, 15 December 2025

Candidates must complete their application with the following documents:
- Updated CV
- ATPL Frozen licence (with valid ME/IR ratings)
- UPRT certificate
- Class 1 medical certificate
- ATPL exam results
- University diploma
- English proficiency certificate
(Candidates who have not yet taken the exam may upload an appointment confirmation for an exam scheduled to be completed before 15 December 2025.)
How Will the Selection Process Work?
Following the completion of applications, shortlisted candidates will be invited to an introductory project meeting. After the meeting, candidates who wish to proceed will be scheduled for psychometric tests by the Human Resources department. Candidates who successfully pass these tests will move on to the next interview stage.
