Corendon Airlines announced its targets for the 2026-2027 Hajj and Umrah season during the 2nd Istanbul Gathering Gala Dinner hosted by Royal Avis Aviation. The company announced that it plans to transport 200,000 passengers from a total of 38 airports across Europe and Türkiye.

Corendon Airlines attended the 2nd Istanbul Gathering Gala Dinner hosted by Royal Avis Aviation in Istanbul, where it shared its new season plans for Hajj and Umrah transportation. Held at CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel, the event brought together representatives from the aviation and Hajj-Umrah tourism sectors to discuss the development of partnerships and the future of the industry.
Speaking at the event, Corendon Airlines Chairman of the Board Yıldıray Karaer announced that the company will expand its operations across Europe and Türkiye during the 2026-2027 season, increasing its flight capacity to the holy lands.

Corendon Airlines Aims to Transport 200,000 Passengers from 38 Airports
Yıldıray Karaer stated that they have maintained a strong, trust-based partnership with their business partners in Hajj and Umrah operations for many years, emphasizing that such events make significant contributions to the sector.
Karaer stated that Corendon Airlines will carry out a major operation in the new season in cooperation with Royal Avis Aviation and shared the following information:
- 5 aircraft from 4 base locations in Europe,
- 9 aircraft from 7 base locations in Türkiye,
- Flights will be operated from 38 different airports both domestically and internationally,
- Approximately 200,000 passengers are targeted to be transported to the holy lands during the 2026-2027 season.
Karaer also emphasized that Corendon Airlines has ranked among the top 10 companies contributing the most to service exports for the past three years according to the Turkish Exporters Assembly, noting that this is one of the key indicators of the company’s sustainable growth performance.
Partnerships in Hajj and Umrah Operations Continue to Strengthen
In his speech, Karaer stated that they continue to contribute to Türkiye’s tourism through direct Hajj and Umrah flights from Europe and expressed confidence that their existing partnerships will continue to grow in the coming period.
Karaer noted that while the company aims to increase its operational capacity, it also seeks to improve service quality, adding that long-term partnerships established with industry stakeholders are among the fundamental elements of their success.

Royal Avis Aviation Board Member Abdurrahman Dinçer stated in his speech that the company’s operational success achieved in a short period is based on trust-based partnerships and a strong organizational structure.
Dinçer stated that Royal Avis Aviation is not only a company managing flight operations but has also established a structure that produces sustainable solutions in the field of Hajj and Umrah transportation.
He added that the company met with industry representatives through roadshow events organized in eight different cities across Anatolia this year, noting that the 2nd Istanbul Gathering represents an important finale to this process.
