Corendon Airlines Operates Its First Umrah Flight from Antalya

Corendon Airlines operated the first direct Antalya–Jeddah flight of the 2026–2027 Umrah season in cooperation with Royal Avis. With operations continuing throughout the summer season, direct access to the holy lands will be provided not only from Antalya but also from Konya, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Ankara.

Corendon Airlines operated its first direct Antalya–Jeddah flight of the 2026–2027 Umrah season on July 1 in cooperation with Royal Avis. Flight XC9903 departed from Antalya Airport at 07:30 and arrived in Jeddah at 10:45 local time after an approximately 3-hour and 15-minute journey. By continuing its flights to the holy lands throughout the summer season, the company aims to provide uninterrupted transportation for Umrah pilgrims.

Umrah Flights Starting from Antalya Will Expand Across Türkiye

Corendon Airlines continues its Hajj and Umrah operations during the summer season, in addition to the services it operates from many destinations across Europe and 30 airports in Türkiye during the winter season.

It was announced that the summer season operations, which began with direct Antalya–Jeddah flights, will later be expanded with flights departing from Konya, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Ankara. As a result, passengers planning an Umrah journey will have the opportunity to travel directly to Jeddah from different cities.

Guest-Oriented Service Approach Takes Center Stage

With its strong operational infrastructure and guest-oriented service approach, the company aims to make Umrah journeys more accessible, safe, and comfortable. The operations launched on the Antalya–Jeddah route are also expected to strengthen the air transportation network to the holy lands.

Umut Okutan, Senior Charter Sales Manager of Corendon Airlines, stated that the holy lands are among the company’s strategic destinations.

Expressing his satisfaction with the launch of direct Jeddah flights from Antalya following the successful Hajj and Umrah operations carried out across Europe, Okutan said that the airline would expand its operational network during the summer season to include Konya, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Ankara.

Okutan emphasized that the company will continue to provide a safe, high-quality, and comfortable travel experience for guests on these spiritually significant journeys and underlined their goal of offering services from more destinations.

Royal Avis: Operational Capacity Increased to Six Aircraft

Abdurrahman Dinçer, Member of the Board of Directors of Royal Avis Aviation, stated that the company continues to contribute to the sector through its organizational strength, extensive partnership network, and high passenger potential in Hajj and Umrah operations.

Dinçer noted that the cooperation with Corendon Airlines is an important part of this strong structure, adding that they have achieved sustainable growth thanks to the increasing number of passengers and growing operational experience each season.

He also stated that increasing operational capacity to six aircraft this year is a significant indicator of the trust established among business partners, adding that the company aims to expand its Hajj and Umrah air transportation network and strengthen long-term partnerships in the coming period.

Antalya–Jeddah Route Provides Direct Access for Umrah Pilgrims

The direct Antalya–Jeddah flights operated under the cooperation between Corendon Airlines and Royal Avis offer a non-stop travel option for passengers wishing to perform Umrah during the summer season. The company aims to further strengthen its air transportation network to the holy lands with flights from additional cities in the new period.
