Coconut Bay Debuts Catamaran Wedding Package With Ceremony in St. Lucia

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa is expanding its destination wedding portfolio with the launch of the Sapphire Wedding Package, a new wedding experience that combines a private catamaran ceremony with one of Saint Lucia‘s most iconic backdrops—the UNESCO-listed Pitons.

Designed for intimate celebrations of up to eight guests, the new package gives travel advisors another option for couples looking to combine their wedding and honeymoon at an all-inclusive Caribbean resort.

The Sapphire Wedding Package includes pre-arrival planning, on-site wedding coordination and assistance with the legal marriage requirements for Saint Lucia.

The centerpiece of the experience is a private half-day catamaran cruise along Saint Lucia’s west coast, where couples exchange vows at sea with the Pitons serving as the ceremony backdrop.

The package includes ceremony music, a tropical bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, Champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres and a one-tier wedding cake.

Following the ceremony, newlyweds and their guests return to Coconut Bay for a private dinner for up to eight people at the oceanfront La Luna restaurant. Couples also receive a decorated guestroom and a Champagne breakfast in bed. 

Expanding Wedding Options

The Sapphire package joins Coconut Bay’s broader destination wedding collection, which ranges from the complimentary Silver Wedding Package—available with qualifying seven-night stays—to the multi-day Pearl Wedding Package designed for larger celebrations.

The resort hosts only one wedding each day, allowing its dedicated wedding team to provide personalized planning and coordination throughout the experience. Couples also have access to digital planning tools, including customizable wedding websites, online planning resources, honeymoon registry services and event management tools.

The launch also builds on the recent renovation of Coconut Bay’s adults-only Harmony wing, which now features redesigned accommodations with spa-inspired bathrooms, handcrafted mahogany furnishings and private balconies or patios overlooking the ocean or gardens.

Meanwhile, the resort’s family-friendly Splash wing allows wedding groups to accommodate guests of all ages, making the property an option for multi-generational destination weddings.
