A group of 50 people affiliated with the France-based Kineret Jewish Summer Camp caused a major crisis aboard a Vueling Airlines flight from Valencia, Spain, to Paris. The camp group, mostly children aged between 10 and 15, was forcibly removed from the aircraft due to unruly behaviour during the flight.
Local authorities stated that the group endangered flight safety after disputes with the crew and misused emergency equipment. It was reported that the group also interfered with mandatory safety announcements and failed to comply with security warnings. A 21-year-old woman identified as the group leader was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
Detention and Diplomatic Interventions
Following the crew’s request, security forces intervened and escorted the group to the terminal. However, the group reportedly continued their aggressive behaviour there, with some individuals posing physical threats to authorities.
In response to the developments, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted Spanish officials via Israel’s Embassy in Madrid. Israeli media accused some airport staff of using “provocative language.”

It was alleged that the children were loudly singing Hebrew songs during the flight, which other passengers found disturbing. While Vueling Airlines has not yet made an official statement about the incident, videos circulating on social media have sparked controversy.
