British Airways Flight Attendant Found in Toilet Under the Influence of Drugs

Haden Pentecost, a 41-year-old flight attendant on a British Airways flight from California to London, was found “completely naked and under the influence of drugs” in the aircraft toilet and has been taken to court.

According to the court, Pentecost was discovered by a colleague in a panicked, sweaty, and incoherent state. She had been removed from duty by the flight manager for not assisting with pre-flight security checks. During the flight, claiming stomach cramps required her to change clothes, the attendant locked herself in one of the aircraft toilets.

When the colleague opened the door, they did not immediately notice that Pentecost was completely unclothed. She was monitored by the captain until medical personnel were called; with dilated pupils and an increased heart rate, Pentecost was checked every 20 minutes until arrival at Heathrow and then taken to hospital.

In court, it was reported that Pentecost’s blood test showed methamphetamine and amphetamine, and she admitted performing her aviation duties under the influence of drugs. She was later dismissed from British Airways.

The flight attendant from Basingstoke was released on bail pending sentencing at Isleworth Crown Court. British Airways has not commented on the incident.
