Birgül Akgül has been featured on Business Life Magazine’s “50 Corporate Communication Leaders Creating Value in Turkey” list!

Birgül Akgül, Corporate Communication and Marketing Director at Corendon Hotels & Resorts, was the only representative from the tourism sector included in the list prepared by Business Life magazine.

Appointed as Corporate Communication and Marketing Director at Corendon Hotels & Resorts in May, Birgül Akgül was featured in the “50 Corporate Communication Leaders Creating Value in Turkey” list published on 3 September 2025. The research evaluated criteria such as transparent management, consistency between words and actions, pioneering initiatives in the sector, competitiveness in global markets, strong stakeholder communication, respect for cultural values, and support for society during crises. With her experience in corporate communication, marketing, and sustainability, Akgül is the only figure from the Tourism and Hospitality sector on the list, representing the sector’s growing influence and needs in communication.

In her role as Corporate Communication and Marketing Director at Corendon Hotels & Resorts, Birgül Akgül contributes significantly to both her brand and the industry through projects focused on tourism’s economic, environmental, and social impacts.
