Air Serbia Updates Belgrade Flight Frequencies Ahead of the 2025/26 Winter Season
Serbian carrier Air Serbia is planning to temporarily reduce the frequency of certain flights to Belgrade in September and October as part of preparations for the 2025/26 winter season, which begins on 26 October.
The airline has brought forward the three-week seasonal suspension of Belgrade–Ankara services to 20 September. Initially set to last until the end of October, the pause will now resume on 18 December and continue until 8 January with three weekly flights operated by the Embraer E190. The route competes with AJet, which offers year-round flights between the two capitals.
In addition, Belgrade–New York services will be reduced from daily to six weekly rotations starting 6 September. From 29 September, the planned five weekly flights will be cut to four. Nevertheless, compared with the same period in 2024, the number of operations will still show an increase.
Other routes will also see frequency adjustments:

Belgrade–Zurich: reduced from 18 to 17 weekly flights

Belgrade–Budapest: reduced from 12 to 10 weekly flights

Despite these adjustments, Air Serbia’s scheduled flight volume will increase by 2.2% in September and 5.6% in October compared with last year.
With these updates, Air Serbia aims to maintain operational efficiency and adapt to passenger demand while preparing for the winter season.
