Azamara Cruises and OneSpaWorld are expanding the wellness experience at sea with a fleetwide refresh of THESANCTUM, introducing upgraded spa facilities, new wellness services and enhanced retail offerings across the cruise line’s four ships. The enhancements, part of Azamara’s ongoing Azamara Forward modernization program, will begin with Azamara Pursuit in Aug. 18, 2026, followed by Azamara Quest on Nov. 25, 2026, with additional ship enhancements planned for 2027.
At the center of the fleetwide enhancement is the expansion of THESANCTUM spa, with Azamara dedicating additional onboard space to wellness across its ships. The upgrades will add two treatment rooms—a dedicated couples’ suite and an additional single treatment room—expanding spa capacity while supporting the line’s personalized wellness experience. The new couples’ suite will allow guests to enjoy massages and body treatments together in a private setting.
As part of the enhancements, Azamara will introduce a new retail space at the entrance to THESANCTUM, featuring a curated selection of wellness and beauty products from brands including ELEMIS, Kérastase, JOU and Good Feet. The new retail concept is designed to complement the spa and salon offerings while extending the onboard wellness experience beyond the treatment room.
Azamara is also expanding THESANCTUM’s wellness offerings with the introduction of Medi-Spa and IV therapies across the fleet. The enhanced menu will include physician-administered aesthetic treatments such as Thermage, Restylane, Dysport and microneedling, as well as medically guided IV therapies focused on hydration, energy and longevity, including NAD+ infusions and targeted vitamin treatments.
