Audley Travel is giving U.S. travel advisors the chance to earn a place on an educational trip to South Africa through a new video contest as part of its “Audley Loves Travel Advisors” campaign.
Open to graduates of the company’s Audley Academy training program, the contest invites advisors to submit a video explaining how participating in Audley’s South Africa FAM would strengthen their business and help them sell tailor-made travel experiences.
The submission period runs now through July 15, with entries evaluated on storytelling, creativity, sales strategy, authenticity and how advisors plan to translate the experience into future bookings and client engagement.
One winning advisor will secure a place on Audley’s South Africa FAM departing Dec. 6, where they’ll experience the company’s trip-planning process, local expertise and immersive travel style firsthand.
“Supporting travel advisors in their business and helping them to expand their offering to include tailor-made FIT is really important to Audley. I encourage any eligible travel advisor to enter and ensure their submission really explains to us how attending would grow their business – we’d love specific examples about how they would apply and share what they learn about South Africa with their clients,” said Cathy Kusuma Bennis, VP/Head of Trade Sales & Partnerships (North America), in a media statement.
In addition to the grand prize, second place will receive a $200 gift card, while the third-place winner will receive an Audley Eddie Bauer backpack.
To qualify, advisors must be registered with Audley Travel and have completed the Audley Academy program, earning Audley Ambassador status. Videos must be between 60 seconds and five minutes in length and submitted by email no later than July 15.
