The ASELSAN KORKUT air defence system is a mobile air defence solution of the Turkish defence industry with its 35 mm guns and radar-supported structure against UAVs and low-altitude threats.
Developed by ASELSAN, KORKUT is an armoured and mobile air defence system operating against low-altitude aerial threats and is in the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. The system is designed to provide effective protection against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), cruise missiles, helicopters, fighter jets and air-to-ground munitions.
Developed against increasingly growing low-altitude threats on the modern battlefield, KORKUT stands out as a critical layer especially supporting the air defence of manoeuvring units.
Twin-barrel 35 mm gun system and high firepower
The main weapon system of KORKUT consists of twin-barrel 35 mm automatic cannons. The system has a firing capacity of approximately 1100 rounds per minute.
Used together with programmable ATOM ammunition, the system provides a high hit rate especially against small and fast aerial targets, creating an effective defence solution against modern air threats.

Radar-supported target detection and command capability
The KORKUT system typically operates in tactical units consisting of 3 Weapon System Vehicles and 1 Command Control Vehicle.
The 3D radar system located on the command control vehicle can detect targets at a range of up to approximately 70 kilometres.
Operation on the move and adaptability to harsh conditions
KORKUT enables uninterrupted protection of mobile units thanks to its capability to fire while on the move. The system is also capable of day and night operations and can perform its mission under harsh weather conditions.
Amphibious capability on FNSS platform
The KORKUT system, integrated on the ACV-30 armoured platform developed by FNSS, also has amphibious capabilities.
