ASELSAN, in order to meet the increasing order volume and increase production capacity, has put into operation the Smart Munitions and Underwater Systems production facilities completed with a $40 million investment. With the new centers, the robotic production infrastructure has been significantly strengthened.
New Production Move from ASELSAN
ASELSAN, one of the leading organizations in Türkiye’s defense industry, has added another to its strategic investments aimed at meeting increasing production demand and raising delivery capacity. The company has commissioned new facilities that will strengthen its production and test infrastructure.
$40 Million Investment Realized
In a statement made by ASELSAN to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was reported that the Smart Munitions and Underwater Systems Additional Production and Test Centers, completed with a total investment of 40 million US dollars, have been put into service. It was stated that the total indoor area of the facilities is 17,360 square meters.
Robotic Transformation in Production Infrastructure
With the newly commissioned centers, the use of robotic and automation technologies has been increased especially in the production processes of air and naval defense systems. This development is aimed at directly contributing to production efficiency and quality standards.
Mass Production and Delivery Capacity Will Increase
It was stated that the new facilities will make a significant contribution to mass production capacity, while ASELSAN’s delivery speed and operational capability have been strengthened. Thanks to the modern production infrastructure, it is aimed to meet higher-volume orders.
