AJet set new milestones during the busy summer travel season, carrying over 2.5 million passengers in July alone. The airline’s General Manager, Kerem Sarp, did not leave this success unrecognised—he took to the field to personally thank the teams who made it possible.
During the final week of July, Kerem Sarp met with cabin crews at Esenboğa Airport and both cabin and flight operations teams at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. His visits served to boost morale and motivation, as he emphasised the crucial role the staff’s dedication played in achieving these records.
Addressing cabin crew in a briefing room, Sarp stated that July had been a historic month for AJet. “July was an intense and highly successful month for AJet. We broke records in both flights and passenger numbers. Since our inaugural flight on 31 March 2024, we’ve reached a major milestone by carrying over 2.5 million passengers in July alone. On 27 July, we also set a new record with 470 flights operated in a single day,” he said.
Highlighting that these accomplishments were made possible through team spirit and strong coordination, Sarp added:
“Our flight crews, cabin teams, planning departments, and all support units worked shoulder to shoulder to make this achievement happen. I sincerely thank our entire team.”
