AJet, the young brand of Turkish civil aviation, has added another international route to its network as part of its European growth strategy. After launching direct flights from Ankara, AJet now also offers direct flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Geneva, Switzerland’s diplomatic hub.
The first flight on the Istanbul-Geneva route took off on Friday, 1 August, with a ceremony attended by AJet’s senior executives and Sabiha Gökçen Airport officials. After a journey of approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes, the aircraft landed at Geneva Cointrin Airport. The welcoming ceremony in Geneva was attended by representatives of the Turkish diplomatic mission, AJet executives, and Swiss airport officials.
Daily Flights to Begin in October
Initially, AJet will operate reciprocal flights between Istanbul and Geneva four times a week—on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. However, starting 1 October 2025, flights between the two cities will be available every day of the week.
Meanwhile, direct flights from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Geneva will continue twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
