AJet’s fleet has been strengthened with three factory-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft delivered from the United States to Istanbul. The new-generation aircraft are being prepared for scheduled flights.
Türkiye’s youngest airline, AJet, continues to strengthen its fleet with new-generation aircraft offering environmentally friendly and high-efficiency performance. Three factory-new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft were delivered from the United States to Istanbul and added to the AJet fleet.
New aircraft added to the strengthened fleet
Three factory-new aircraft bearing the registrations TC-OHT, TC-OHI and TC-OHJ, which will join the AJet fleet, were delivered from Boeing’s production facility in Seattle, USA, to Istanbul during January. Following the completion of delivery processes, the Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft will be introduced into scheduled service after the installation of cabin equipment and the completion of the installation of domestically produced “Miligram” seats.
With the addition of TC-OHT, TC-OHI and TC-OHJ, AJet’s fleet will include 13 factory-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft. Throughout 2026, AJet will continue to add Boeing and Airbus aircraft to its fleet. By the end of the year, 76 percent of the AJet fleet will consist of new-generation aircraft.
An AJet Reflection Under the Northern Lights
During its journey from the United States to Türkiye, the aircraft registered TC-OHT created striking images accompanied by the Northern Lights while passing over Greenland. This natural spectacle in the sky, combined with the AJet logo, offered an impressive visual display.
