Turkey’s youngest airline, AJet, has positioned Milas–Bodrum Airport as its third operational base. The company has launched direct flights from Bodrum to 14 destinations in Europe, 7 domestic destinations, and Nicosia, reaching a total of 22 destinations.
Strategic Hub Move from AJet in Bodrum
Turkey’s youngest airline, AJet, has activated Milas–Bodrum Airport—operated by TAV Airports—as its third operational base as part of its summer season operations.
With this new structure, AJet has expanded its Bodrum-based flight network, launching direct services across Europe, Cyprus, and Türkiye to a total of 22 destinations.
14 Direct Routes from Bodrum to Europe
Within AJet’s new flight planning, direct flights from Bodrum are operated to 14 different destinations in Europe. Together with the Nicosia route and domestic flights, the network reaches a total of 22 destinations.
Germany-Focused Dense Flight Network
The company operates regular flights from Bodrum to Germany’s cities of Nuremberg, Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen, Hannover, and Leipzig. The Germany routes stand out as the busiest segment of the Bodrum operation.
High-Level Attendance at the Opening Ceremony
The ceremony held at Milas–Bodrum Airport was attended by Bodrum District Governor Ali Sırmalı, Yatağan District Governor Turgay İlhan, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Milas Mayor Fevzi Topuz, senior executives from AJet and TAV Airports, and sector representatives.
AJet: “It Will Add Value to Bodrum Tourism”
AJet Deputy CEO Cemal Kaya stated that Bodrum has become the company’s third hub after Istanbul and Ankara, emphasizing that the new routes will contribute to tourism and the regional economy.
Kaya highlighted that Bodrum is positioned as an important center to increase tourist inflow from Europe.
TAV Airports: “Service Quality Will Improve”
TAV Milas–Bodrum General Manager Candemir Akyıldız stated that the new direct routes strengthen the region’s international connectivity and that they will continue to provide passengers with more flight options and higher service quality.
Expanding International Network from Bodrum
Within AJet’s Bodrum operation:
- London flights start in mid-July
- Weekly flights to Vienna, Stockholm, Skopje, Copenhagen, and Sarajevo
- Charter flights to Tirana and Pristina
- Two weekly reciprocal flights on the Nicosia route
- A broad international network has been established.
Direct Flights to 5 Domestic Cities
AJet operates direct flights from Bodrum to Istanbul and Ankara, as well as Trabzon, Adana, Gaziantep, Samsun, and Kayseri. A total of 12 weekly domestic flights are planned, with the first seasonal flight launched on the Kayseri–Bodrum route.
Rising Passenger Traffic at Milas–Bodrum Airport
Milas–Bodrum Airport, operated by TAV Airports, served 4.4 million passengers in 2025. In the first five months of 2026, passenger numbers increased by 4% compared to the same period last year, exceeding 940,000.
