European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered a total of 54 aircraft to 27 customers in the first two months of 2026. While 35 aircraft were delivered to 21 customers in February, 28 new orders were received during the same period.
Airbus, one of the world’s largest aircraft manufacturers, announced its delivery and order data for 2026. The company stated that as of the end of February 2026, it had delivered a total of 54 aircraft to 27 customers in the first two months of the year.
According to the announced data, 35 aircraft were delivered to 21 customers in February 2026. In the same month, Airbus received 28 gross orders.
Single-aisle aircraft made up the majority of deliveries
The majority of deliveries made in the first two months of 2026 consisted of the single-aisle aircraft family. Accordingly:
- Single-aisle aircraft: 51 deliveries
- A350 family: 3 deliveries
- A total of 54 aircraft were delivered to different airline companies.
Global order and delivery numbers exceeded 25 thousand
According to Airbus, as of the end of February 2026, the company’s total number of orders reached 25,587. During the same period, Airbus delivered a total of 16,811 aircraft.
According to company data, 14,779 Airbus aircraft are currently actively in operation worldwide.
Deliveries were made to different continents
In the first two months of the year, Airbus aircraft were delivered to airline companies in many regions, particularly in Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Latin America.
Major airlines receiving deliveries included Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Air France, Japan Airlines, Pegasus Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
The most delivered model was the A321neo
The A321neo, one of Airbus’ most popular narrow-body aircraft, became the most delivered model in the first two months of 2026 with 31 deliveries.
Deliveries by aircraft type were as follows:
- A321neo: 31
- A220-300: 11
- A320neo: 9
- A350-900: 2
- A350-1000: 1
Airbus’ narrow-body A320neo family continues to be among the most preferred models by airlines in the global aviation market due to its fuel efficiency and operational cost advantages.
