Airbus increased its deliveries by 4% in 2025, delivering 793 commercial aircraft. The company’s order backlog reached a record level of 8,754 aircraft.

One of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, Airbus, increased its commercial aircraft deliveries by 4% compared to the previous year, reaching 793 aircraft in 2025. The company’s order backlog also reached a record level of 8,754 aircraft by year-end.

Airbus announced that it delivered a total of 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers worldwide in 2025. During the same period, the company received 1,000 gross orders (889 net) from 57 customers, once again reinforcing its strong position in the commercial aircraft market.

While Airbus’ 2025 deliveries represented a 4% increase compared to 2024, the total order backlog reached an all-time high of 8,754 aircraft by the end of the year. The backlog for widebody aircraft also set a record, reaching 1,124 units.

Strong Demand in Single-Aisle and Widebody Segments

The gross orders recorded in 2025 consisted of:

  • 49 A220 aircraft,
  • 656 A320 Family aircraft,
  • 100 A330neo aircraft,
  • 2 A330 MRTT aircraft,
  • 193 A350 aircraft.

Despite a complex and dynamic global market environment, Airbus maintained upward momentum in deliveries. Throughout the year, the A220, A321XLR, A330neo, and A350-1000 models entered service with new operators across different regions of the world. The company succeeded in securing significant new customers, alongside repeat orders, in both the single-aisle and widebody aircraft segments.

Deliveries by Aircraft Model

Airbus’ commercial aircraft deliveries over the past three years were as follows:

  • A220 Family: 93 in 2025, 75 in 2024, 68 in 2023
  • A320 Family: 607 in 2025, 602 in 2024, 571 in 2023
  • A330 Family: 36 in 2025, 32 in 2024, 32 in 2023
  • A350 Family: 57 in 2025, 57 in 2024, 64 in 2023

Total deliveries amounted to 735 aircraft in 2023 and 766 in 2024, reaching the highest level of 793 aircraft in 2025.

Airbus also announced that it will release its financial results for 2025 on 19 February 2026.
