Air Montenegro has shelved plans to resume regular charter flights to Tel Aviv. The CEO of the airline, Mark Anžur, stated, “The safety of passengers and crew is our absolute priority. In this context, the complex and unpredictable geopolitical situation in Israel and the region has adversely affected the continuity of Tel Aviv flights. Consequently, we had to cancel the planned flights.”
The airline cited not only security concerns but also significant increases in costs on the route, particularly due to rising insurance premiums for aircraft, as reasons for the cancellations.
However, Israir and Sun d’Or are planning to continue operating between the two countries. Air Montenegro noted that it is ready to return to Tel Aviv when conditions allow.
