Yıldıray Karaer, the Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Antalya, hosted a “King’s Day Reception,” welcoming protocol, business figures, and Dutch citizens at Grand Park Lara.
The reception, attended by Deputy Ambassador Nathalie Lintvelt and her spouse representing the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ankara, along with Deputy Governor Mustafa Hulusi Arat from Antalya, highlighted the 100th anniversary of the Friendship Treaty and the 60th anniversary of the “Working Cooperation Agreement” between Turkey and the Netherlands. The reception, held at Grand Park Lara Hotel owned by Corendon Tourism Group, was attended by 300 guests.
In his speech, Karaer stated, “Throughout this century, the two countries have not only strengthened their diplomatic ties but also enhanced collaborations in cultural, economic, tourism, and social fields. This friendship has built bridges between the peoples of both countries and demonstrated the power of sharing common values.”
Deputy Ambassador Nathalie Lintvelt, speaking at the reception held in celebration of Holland’s national day, emphasized that the friendship between the two countries dates back centuries. She noted that over 3,000 Dutch companies operate in Turkey, expressing pride in being the largest foreign direct investor in the country.
