Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Baykar, Technology Leader, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation, made statements in response to misinformation circulating in the media.
In his statement, Bayraktar responded to the long-standing false accusations, slanders, and distortions surrounding their companies.
In response to speculations about Baykar’s sources of income, Bayraktar emphasized that the company is a significant exporter of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) worldwide, with 97.5% of its contracts being export-based. He highlighted that Baykar has conducted all its projects with its own resources since its inception and has obtained 83% of its revenue from exports since the UAV R&D process in 2003. Bayraktar emphasized that there is no similar success story in this sector globally and that Baykar has competed with countries like the USA, Israel, and China in its foreign export activities, exporting high-tech products to 34 different countries.
Bayraktar stressed that Baykar’s sole area of activity is the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicle technologies domestically, stating that the company has never engaged in business involving petroleum products like jet fuel, and such claims do not reflect the truth.
