At the “5th Skydiving Fest-Parachute Days” event held in Sivrihisar district, a 44-year-old parachutist, B.Ö., performed a demonstration by jumping from an aircraft. However, during the landing, B.Ö. lost control and made a hard landing.
The parachutist, gliding through the air, continued his demonstration in front of a large audience gathered at the Necati Artan Facilities. However, he couldn’t control his parachute during the landing and crashed onto the ground harshly. Health teams present at the event immediately intervened as B.Ö. tumbled on the ground due to the impact of the fall.
After receiving initial treatment from the health teams at the event area, B.Ö. was transported to the hospital with a diagnosed ankle fracture. His condition is reported to be stable, and he is currently undergoing treatment.
