February data regarding air traffic in Türkiye has been announced. According to the data shared by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ), millions of passengers were served at airports across Türkiye in February.
159 Thousand Aircraft Movements in February
According to DHMİ data, a total of 15 million 92 thousand 119 passengers were served at airports across Türkiye in February. During the same period, 159 thousand 97 aircraft movements took place, while 361 thousand 607 tons of cargo were transported.
The data showed that airline demand on both domestic and international routes continued at high levels during the winter season.
32 Million Passengers in Two Months
In the January–February period covering the first two months of the year, a total of 32 million 877 thousand 752 passengers were served at airports in Türkiye.
The total traffic recorded during the same period was as follows:
- 338 thousand 175 aircraft movements
- 763 thousand 473 tons of cargo transportation
